What we stand for
Our Values and Vision
Dove CE Academy we aspire to be a safe, caring, nurturing community. Providing firm foundations rooted in the Christian faith. Inspiring all to grow and flourish.
I would like to wish you a sincere welcome to the website for Dove CE Academy. We hope that the information on here allows you to gain an understanding of how our school is organised, what our children experience and of our Christian core values.
Our caring and dedicated staff offer a warm and cheerful greeting to children from ages 3 to 4 in our nursery which is controlled by our LAC members, then from Reception (aged 4/5) through to Year Four (aged 9). Our setting is unique in that we share a building with the middle school into which we feed: providing a wealth of opportunities for our children. The school is at the heart of our community and serves children from the village of Rocester and the surrounding areas but children from other districts are also warmly welcomed.
We have a strong culture of pastoral care and know our children and families incredibly well. Teachers work in partnership with parents to ensure our children know they are safe and are cared for. Our pupils live their daily lives through our core Christian values of kindness, perseverance, respect, honesty, self-control and forgiveness: providing firm foundations rooted in the Christian faith. Giving them, “Roots to Grow and Wings to Fly”.
Building firm foundations for all and high-quality teaching, are at the very core of what we do. Our academic timetable is broad and balanced and follows the Early Years Statutory Framework and the National Curriculum. We aspire to create citizens of the future, caring for themselves, each other and the planet and becoming successful members of their community. Our teachers have high expectations for all, inspiring all to grow and flourish in preparation for their future.
Please contact Cheryl Lear at the school office on 01889 590203 or email office@dove.staffs.sch.uk if you have any questions or would like to visit our school.
