Dove CE Academy

 

Dove CE Academy is a Church of England school with strong links to our church, St Michael’s just a short walk away in our village.  We love holding special services and welcoming parents into church but also helping to decorate it in times of celebration such as the Queen’s Jubilee or the King’s Coronation.  Visiting the church to learn about the Christian faith is also something our children enjoy immensely.   

 

As a church school we aim to develop and uphold our Christian distinctiveness and weave it into all aspects of school life. Rev. Liz Jones  and members of the church community are Foundation governors on our Local Academy Council.

Our School is founded upon the Christian values of  kindness, perseverance, respect, honesty, self-control and forgiveness.  Our school community live out these values in our daily lives.

In terms of educational support, SUAT is linked to the School of Education of Staffordshire University, which is an outstanding ITT provider.
