Who are we?

Our school council is made up of 2 children from each year. One boy and one girl.

How do we become council members?

At the beginning of each year, the children apply to be school council members. The winner of the vote will get to be on the school council.

When do we meet?

We meet at least twice a term at 3.00pm. We do not lose any valuable lesson time.

What do we do?

We talk about different things affecting the school and speak to our classes about decisions that we make and things that we want to

What have we done so far?

  1. Decided where our Lent Appeal money should be sent to.
  2. Thought about improving the outdoor play areas.
  3. Organised resources and equipment for classrooms.
  4. We designed a new cover to hide the dustbins at the front of the school.
  5. Requested new toys for lunch times

SUAT supports and leads in the set-up of new academies joining the partnership. The sevices provided by the central support function cover both educational and non-educational support. In terms of educational support, SUAT is linked to the School of Education of Staffordshire University, which is an outstanding ITT provider.
